Housebreaking a puppy has really put a damper on my usual insistence to look more or less put together when I’m in public. It’s not that I curl my hair and wear a full face for every outing, but I tend to make an attempt to wear clothes, and not look like I rolled out of bed.

Yet sometimes the puppy needs to go out at 5 a.m., and so I must roll out of bed. I’ve started training myself to sleep in leggings and tees I wouldn’t be mortified to run out in, and once the weather cools down a bit, I’ll definitely be making use of my denim jacket.
